Wednesdays and Saturdays, 1–4pm
Crochet Club
Come and sit with people and make something. That's the whole of it. £2 a session, or £6 for four.
- Beginners taught
- Materials provided
- No booking needed
Especially if you can't
Never crocheted before?
Then you’re exactly who these sessions are for.
We’ll teach you. Someone will sit with you and show you how, from the very beginning. Nobody minds how long it takes.
You don’t need to bring anything. There are materials here to start you off. If you’d rather bring your own hook and yarn, do — plenty of people do both.
Just turn up. There’s no booking and no need to tell us you’re coming.

Sewing, poetry, card making, diamond art, art club, lego therapy and more run through the week at the hubs — most of them just as welcoming to a complete beginner.
