About us
In the press
When other people write about us, we'll put it here. It's the easiest way to see what we actually do, from someone who isn't us.

A fun open day for Kindness Counts UK
Coverage of the open day that launched our third hub, with music, cakes and fundraising. The Mayor of Wyre, Councillor Steve Nichols, came along, as did members of the North Fylde Group of Freemasons and Kevin Frost of the Blood Bikes charity. Fifteen-year-old Hannah Walker sang for everyone.
Written in July 2026. The classroom has moved to Hub 2 since — see our hubs pages for what's where now.

Grand opening for new anti-bullying soft play centre just in time for school holidays
The Gazette on the opening of our third hub on Victoria Road West in Cleveleys, and the soft play area it added for children. The piece traces the charity from Michelle Carter starting it at home in 2019, through the Community Hub and its counselling and sensory rooms in 2023, to the charity shop and now the soft play next door.

23 brilliant pictures as bumper crowds delight at Fleetwood Carnival in the sunshine
A picture gallery from the carnival procession through Fleetwood. We joined the parade in support of the nurseries, children and community groups we work with, who were out along the route.
These articles aren't ours
Each piece was written and photographed by the publication named, and stays theirs — we link to them rather than reproduce them. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to write about our work.
For journalists
Writing about us?
We’re glad to talk. Ring or email and we’ll sort out photographs, figures, and someone to speak to.
Michelle and her volunteers are also happy to come and talk to groups, lodges and clubs about the charity and what it does.
